On Tuesday, May 13, we were honored to welcome a special group of students from Sequoyah Middle School. The 6th, 7th, and 8th graders didn’t just visit—they came with hearts full of compassion and hands full of donations for our Crisis Supply Room.
These thoughtful students had the opportunity to vote on how they wanted to serve their community, and they chose our Crisis program. Their donations will be used to help individuals and families facing homelessness or going through domestic crises. In a time when many are in need, their kindness shines brightly.
We are incredibly grateful for their generous support and the meaningful gifts they gave. These young leaders are a beautiful example of what it means to care for others and take action to make a difference.
First Christian partners with the Broken Arrow Police Department and Grand Mental Health to distribute these supplies when emergencies arise. The Broken Arrow Police have 24/7 access to our Crisis Supply Room, ensuring that help is always within reach for those who need it most.
To the students of Sequoyah Middle School—thank you. Your compassion, generosity, and spirit of service are truly inspiring. You remind us all that no one is ever too young to make a difference.
